Need help on finding info on NWT - which sites to use

hi, i need a good recap on how the nwt is unreliable.

i used to be able to reel it all off the top of my tongue but i have fallen behind.

where could i go to see some good criticism and counter arguements to thoughts about the great crowd, alpha and omega, trinity etc?

Who has lost faith?

i am curious about who (after leaving) went on to other religions vs. lost faith completely.

once i started questioning the wt society, i began to question everything.

as jw's we are taught from childhood up that other religions are false - so it seems easy, after elliminating the last one, to be rid of religion altogether.. .

I didn't lose my faith in the God(s) of the bible; I killed it with research and that evil thing referred to as thinking. I have, therefore, gained freedom from that element of false belief which holds the human race back.

Is there a creator? I don't know.

And I don't have to know.

Jah VERY Merciful -delaying the end

it struck me like a thunderbolt at 4.00 am this morning while tossing and turning in bed.

i used to say "isnt jehovah wonderful -he is being especially merciful by delaying the end so more people can come in the truth and be saved" the wtbts representatives have said the same.. problem here is that earths population grows about 20,000 per day (reference needed here) .

not even close to that come into the truth.

The scripture about delaying the end and the way it was used never clicked with me, even when I was in. Every day that goes by has a shitload of suffering for enormous numbers of people - and it was merciful of Jehovah to allow this so that others have the chance to repent?

Misapplication of a flawed scripture.

i know i'm asking this early but i feel it would be good to put the feelers out now.. obviously, it would have to be a location easy to get to - so that means stornoway is out!

Don't worry about that MisfitMeL. I'm shy (maybe the WTS lifestyle has something to do with that?) and it will be my first get-together with ex-JW's. Anyway, I'm sure all who are going would make you very welcome. There's a lot of understanding around here.
